Griffith observatory, one of the best and well know views of Los Angeles. Featured in many movies (Rebel without a cause) and television shows. With it's great view on the Hollywood Sign in the back on the hills, downtown LA and the bust of James Dean. At night time the city gets a shiny, flickering glow which gives Los Angeles that special something. Make sure to get there before 10.00 PM, for the park is closed till sunrise. The observatory itself is opened from 12.30 PM till 22.00 PM.
